Varanasi: Banaras Hindu University of Varanasi has taken a big decision regarding Bangladesh Crisis. In view of the situation in Bangladesh, the university has given a big relief to the Bangladeshi students studying in the university and has kept them in the hostel.
The BHU administration has decided to provide free stay and other facilities to about 40 students who have passed out from the university in the university hostel. According to the permission, Bangladeshis can stay in the university hostel for free and avail other facilities of the hostel until the situation in Bangladesh improves.
Free hostel facility to Bangladeshi students who have passed the examination
According to the order of the university, now the students who have passed out from the university will not have to vacate their hostel nor will they have to pay any kind of fee. Reportedly according to the rules of the university, if a student completes the course and passes the examination, then he has to vacate the hostel.
If the student stays, then guest fee is charged from him, but in view of the current situation in Bangladesh, the university has provided free stay facility to the students who have passed out. The generosity of BHU has reduced the worries of Bangladeshi students.
It is worth noting that Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left the country. There are continuous reports of violence from Bangladesh. In such a situation, the students studying in Kashi Hindu University and those who have passed out are very worried.
Around 200 students are studying in various courses in the university. This year, the course of about 40 students has been completed. In such a situation, the students who passed the examination were worried about vacating the hostel. In such a situation, after the Bangladeshi students got permission from the university to stay in the hostel for free, their worries have reduced to a great extent.
